On the afternoon of December 16th, SUIBE held a summary and commendation conference for 2022 enrollment and employment, which was also a mobilization and deployment conference for 2023 enrollment and employment, in metaverse. SUIBE president Wang Rongming, vice chairman of the University Council and vice president of SUIBE Qi Ming, and vice president of SUIBE Xu Yonglin attended the meeting.
Wang Rongming acknowledged the enrollment achievements in 2022 and expressed gratitude to faculty members participating in undergraduate enrollment and graduate employment. To better move on to the next stage, he requested all units and departments to enhance political stance and strengthen the coordinated mechanism of enrollment, employment, and cultivation. He also encouraged them to intensify resource expansion to widen channels for market-based employment and build a quality employment guidance system for students.
Xu Yonglin summarized the undergraduate enrollment in 2022. Led by the leaderships of the university and all schools, SUIBE faculty and students participated in the enrollment work and built a comprehensive model for enrollment publicity on online media platforms, making notable progress in sustaining the quality of the students enrolled.
Qi Ming summarized the graduate employment in 2022. With great emphasis on employment, the University Council of SUIBE designed working plans to stabilize employment rates, expand channels for employment, and make resources more accessible to graduate students. With individual-specific assistance, employment rates have been stabilized.
At the conference, Wang Rongming read out a decision on commendation of advanced groups of SUIBE enrollment and employment in 2022, and advanced groups and units were commended.
