| Advances in communication and information technology enable medical outsourcing to be a fastgrowing
area in the trade of healthcare services. This article summarizes the cause, types and current status of
medical outsourcing. Then we investigate the challenges posed by medical outsourcing from the aspect of regulatory
requirements, such as certification, accreditation, privacy and malpractice. Finally we discuss the economic benefits
of medical outsourcing and its future development trends |
